Does SACS hire Law Enforcement Officers?

Yes we do! Law Enforcement Officers, whether active or retired, typically have the skills, training, and real-world experience we want in our security personnel. The benefits of having police officers on our security force include:

  • Specialized training and experience in firearms and self-defense equips them to handle a wide range of high-pressure situations well.
  • Enhanced authority and deterrence: Potential wrongdoers are less likely to engage in unlawful behavior when they see a law enforcement professional present. The presence of a police officer, even off-duty, is a powerful deterrent that can reduce the incidence of theft, vandalism, and other crimes.
  • Legal Acumen and Accountability: Their deep knowledge of public safety laws and high standard of conduct helps ensure security operations are conducted within legal bounds, fostering trust, increasing reliability, and reducing liability for SACS and our clients.
  • Seamless Coordination with Law Enforcement: Off-duty officers’ familiarity with local police and emergency services affords a more effective response when time is critical.
  • Positive Public Perception: Fostering a sense of safety and trust with customers, employees, and the public by hiring police officers for security can enhance a company’s or event’s reputation.

Does SACS hire veterans?

Absolutely! Veterans possess a unique and valuable set of skills that are highly transferable to the civilian workforce. Their military training and experience instill qualities that are sought after by employers, and of course, by SACS, including:

  • Exceptional Work Ethic and Discipline: Military service instills a strong sense of duty, punctuality, and a commitment to completing tasks to the highest standards.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Veterans are trained to operate and thrive in dynamic, high-stress environments. They are resilient and skilled at quickly adapting to changing situations and finding innovative solutions.
  • Proven Leadership and Teamwork: Veterans often have extensive experience leading teams, making critical decisions under pressure, and collaborating effectively to achieve a common goal.
  • Technical and Specialized Skills: Many veterans have received advanced training in a wide range of fields, such as security and investigations.
  • Accountability: Veterans are known for taking personal responsibility for their actions and a strong sense of integrity.
