Electronic Debugging Sweeps

Is your privacy truly private?

There are thousands of commercially-available electronic listening devices. Hidden security camera systems, surveillance equipment, and GPS tracking gear can be purchased easily on Amazon, E-bay, Facebook, and numerous private websites. Since 1992, with the proliferation of the internet, there has been a rise in use of these electronic devices to eavesdrop, stalk, harass, intimidate, and threaten.

Electronic surveillance devices are typically placed in private homes, offices, hotel rooms, and vehicles without the owner’s consent or any legal authority. Although frequently found in divorce and domestic dispute cases, these devices make it possible for almost anyone to become a victim.

Is it time for counter-surveillance? SACS performs Electronic Debugging Sweeps to assure your complete privacy.

SACS Consulting & Investigative Services has several staff who are expert in conducting electronic debugging sweeps. Also known as a bug sweep or electronic countermeasure, the process detects and removes hidden surveillance devices like microphones, cameras, and GPS trackers. These sweeps are commonly used in cases of suspected eavesdropping, corporate espionage, or personal privacy concerns. We can conduct sweeps in homes, offices, or vehicles to ensure your privacy and security.

SACS performs Electronic Debugging Sweeps in four phases:

  1. Physical Inspections: We check for visible signs of tampering or hidden devices by performing a physical search of all rooms’ interiors, including attics, basements, and garages. We perform a second physical search if something is discovered in the initial search or sweep.
  2. Electronic Scanning: We use specialized equipment to detect radio frequencies (RF), infrared signals, and other emissions from hidden devices. The scan alerts our personnel when the RF frequency or other signals are present, and can target their locations.
  3. Thermal Imaging: We perform a Thermal Camera Search to identify heat signatures from active devices that may be concealed, using batteries or direct wire as a power source.
  4. Wiring Inspections: We examine phone lines, electrical systems, and network cables for unauthorized modifications.
