New Hiring Report Act

          New Hiring Reporting Act. This act is in effect as of October 1, 1997 and all employees must report information about newly hired employees to a designated state agency. This employee information, due within 20 days of the hire date, includes each new employee's name, address and social security number and the employer's name, address and federal tax identification number.
